FG to Give Free New Sets of Uniform to Environmental Health Officers
The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria, which is domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Environment has concluded plans to give a complete set of uniform and it's full accessories to all Licensed EHOs in Nigeria.

The gesture is part of the government's effort to rejuvenate the profession in all the nooks and crannies of the nation. Wolewole.com reliably gathered that the materials are already on ground and will be distributed to each state of the Federation.
In his address during a function in Kuchikawu, Nasarawa state on Friday February 4, 2017 the Registrar/CEO of EHORECON, Dr. Abonyi Dominic announced that plans are already concluded on the mode of distribution. He affirmed that only EHOs with the current year practicing licence will benefit from the largesse.

Date for the National distribution of the uniforms will be communicated soonest but it is likely to come up in March. Lagos, Akure, Abuja and Jos are the likely cities where the public presentation are to come up. This is due to the large number of Sanitarians with the current year practising licences in the aforementioned States. Lagos leads with over 200 EHOs with the practising license for 2016/2017.
